Most cheap daypacks skip the two things that make a pack comfortable on a hill: a hip belt and a ventilated back. This one has both, plus a removable chest strap, side compression straps and a Velcro sleeve for a 2 L hydration bladder. The 25 L is the fast day-walk size; the 45 L handles a weekend.
