Reduces the jerking and tugging caused by a fixed dock line.

A bungee mooring rope for attaching a boat to a dock with less movement in the line. Suits boat owners who want quick attachment and some protection against chafing.

Why we like it

• Hidden bungee cord acts as a built-in snubber.
• Loop and clip at each end make attachment straightforward.
• Two EVA foam floats help protect the boat from chafing.
• 4ft (122cm) long, stretching to 5.5ft (168cm).
• Available in black or blue.
• 16mm diameter with a stated 1,000kg (2,200lb) withstand strength.

In the box

Two bungee dock ropes.

Good to know

This is boating equipment rather than general-purpose camping rope. The bungee is enclosed inside the PE and PP rope, with clips for docking and floats positioned to help reduce chafing.
