A hot shower at the end of a long day, with no plug and no gas.

Fill the 20 litre bag, leave it in the sun with the dark side up, and in around three hours of decent sunshine you have warm water for a proper wash. Hang it from a tree, a roof bar or the tent porch pole, turn the tap on the shower head, and rinse off the day. It is the simplest, cheapest way to stay clean on a multi-night camp.

Normal or Upgraded?

Black Normal is the classic version. The Upgraded versions (green, white or blue) add a front mesh pocket for soap and shampoo and Velcro tabs to keep the hose tidy. Both hold 20 litres and heat the same way.

Good to know

Rinse with warm water and a little bicarbonate of soda before first use. Never let the water go above 50 °C, and always test the temperature on your hand before you stand under it. Packed size roughly 29 × 12 cm, expanded 50 × 47 cm, weight 425 g.
